Approach
I believe that everyone has the capacity to create meaningful change. My role is to provide a safe, supportive and collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges and move towards a life that feels more aligned with your values.
Therapy isn't simply about reducing symptoms—it's about building insight, resilience and practical skills that help you respond differently to life's inevitable challenges. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, significant life transitions or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you gain clarity, strengthen emotional wellbeing and move forward with greater confidence.
Every person is unique, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and mindfulness-based strategies.
Schema Therapy is a particular area of interest. Schema therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps people identify and change deep, long-standing emotional patterns. It targets core beliefs—often formed during childhood—such as "I am a failure" or "people will leave me". It goes beyond traditional therapies by focusing on underlying emotional wounds and replacing them with healthier alternatives helping people understand the lifelong patterns, beliefs and coping strategies that influence how they think, feel, relate to others and respond to life's challenges.
You don't need to be experiencing a mental illness to benefit from therapy. Many people seek support during periods of change, uncertainty or personal growth. My goal is to help you develop greater self-understanding, strengthen your emotional wellbeing and build a life that feels meaningful, balanced and authentic.
I provide appointments both in person and via Telehealth, working with clients throughout Australia.
